Low Libido in Men: Causes, Testosterone Evaluation and Treatment Options
Have you noticed that your interest in sex is not what it used to be? Maybe you think about sex less often, or your desire has dropped even though your overall health seems unchanged.
Low libido, also called low sex drive, is a decrease in interest in sexual activity. It can affect men of any age and may develop gradually or suddenly. Changes in desire are normal over a lifetime, but a persistent drop can be linked to hormonal changes, medications, stress, poor sleep or an underlying health condition.
At Enhance Anti-Aging in Willis and Montgomery, Texas, we treat sexual health as part of overall men's wellness. We take time to understand what may be behind the change, explain your options clearly and help you decide on next steps, in a respectful, judgment-free setting.

What Is Low Libido?
Libido means sexual desire or sex drive: your interest in sex, not your ability to get an erection or reach orgasm.
There is no single "normal" level of desire. Libido varies from man to man and changes with age, health, life circumstances and relationships. It becomes a concern when a noticeable drop persists, causes distress or affects your quality of life or relationship.
Low libido is not the same as erectile dysfunction (ED). A man can have normal erections and little interest in sex, or strong desire and difficulty getting or keeping an erection. Some men experience both. Knowing which one you are dealing with guides the evaluation.
